The Mission Support System (MSS) is a customer-adapted ground-based system for Mission Planning and Post-Flight Analysis. The system offers commanders as well as mission crews significantly greater situation awareness and much improved possibilities for briefing, planning, debriefing, tactics development and training.
By integrating the planning and post-flight debriefing function in one single system a more efficient use of tactical information is achieved throughout the tactical loop. Using the included functionality for distributing tactical data, information can be efficiently shared within and between units thereby increasing the possibilty for succesful interaction in the battlefield.
By using the MSS the pilot is ensured to have the best possible outcome of his mission, both when it comes to mission result and total training effect. The MSS is designed for both fixed-wing and rotor-wing applications.
