The e-Strip electronic flight progress strip system replaces paper strips in a TWR/APP environment. The system is role-based and allows easy on-line combining or splitting of roles. It’s scalable and well suited for both small and large airports.

The e-Strip system can easily be configured according to customer requirements without any reprogramming.

The HMI may be adapted via predefined event-driven commands, for example by the state of the flight.

In combination with Boolean logic, this provides an infinite number of alternatives allowing configuration of the system to meet the layout and functional requirements of a specific site.

Increasing safety
Data is transferred between server and clients with the aid of ComCore, a communication platform developed by Saab. ComCore fulfils the redundancy requirements for continuous operation and runs on COTS components.

e-Strip is fully redundant. A number of safety nets are included to ensure safe operations and minimize head-down time. Automatic user support is also provided.
